A Beloit man was arrested on human trafficking charges Saturday after spending months in Rock County Jail, according to a news release and police report. Cory Darnell Hereford, 46, of 1403 Keeler Ave., Beloit, was arrested on active warrants in December by U.S. marshals after a mother found "concerning messages" between her 16-year-old daughter and Hereford, according to the release.

Beloit police say they have arrested two suspects for a shooting during an attempted robbery on April 1 in Beloit. Keonte A. Howard, 24, and Keshawn C.
