Beloit Police and the Rock County Sheriff's office say search warrants served on separate locations in the area Friday resulted in the arrests of four people. Authorities also confiscated cash, drugs, and guns in the raids.

Three arrested in Janesville shooting

Two Janesville males and a Beloit male have been arrested in a shooting reported on Janesville's west side Monday, authorities said. According to a Janesville Police Department alert released Wednesday evening, police arrested Hunter A. Jass, 18, of Janesville, Kobe L. Wethal, 17, Janesville, and Damien L. Buchanan, 21, Beloit, were arrested in a shooting that happened around 7:30 p.m. Monday night in the 300 block of South Academy St., Janesville.

Armed robber steals cash from Dodgeville convenience store

Dodgeville police were called at 11:24 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 13, 2018, regarding an armed robbery to the Kwik Trip Store located at 1122 North Bequette St. The lone male entered the store wearing a green camouflage jacket, black ski mask, blue jeans, white shoes and a large silver wallet chain, according to a post on the police department's Facebook page . The robber demanded the money from the register and displayed a black handgun during the event.
