HSHS Hospitals Lift Visitor Restrictions

After nearly four weeks, a decrease in flu activity has allowed HSHS-Hospitals in Northeast Wisconsin to lift visitor restrictions that they put in place due to a high number of influenza cases. Restrictions were put in place at St. Vincent Hospital and St. Mary's Hospital Medical Center in Green Bay, as well as St. Nicholas Hospital in Sheboygan, and St. Clare Memorial Hospital in Oconto Falls.

Lake Michigan windsurfer rescued by Coast Guard after ice blocks return to shore

The United States Coast Guard rescued a windsurfer from Lake Michigan after ice that had been blown close to shore hindered his return to land. The incident occurred at 3:05 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 18 when Coast Guard Station Sheboygan received a call from a good Samaritan who described a windsurfer in distress about 150 yards off the south pierhead in Sheboygan, Wisc.
