A town of Beloit man was arrested earlier this month after investigators say he sought sex and nude photos from multiple girls in the Rock County area. Town of Beloit Police Department received information on Nov. 30 that Matthew M. Horkey, 32, was soliciting a juvenile girl for nude photos and sex acts, according to a town of Beloit police news release.

GOP donor gave Pruitt $50,000 for legal defense

In an ethics filing the EPA released Thursday, Justina Fugh, the agency's top ethics official, said the donation was "believed to be in cash" and that Pruitt did not seek ethics advice on receiving it. Seal-Rite Door to move 80 jobs to new facility in Beloit

Seal-Rite Door plans to relocate its Rockford, Illinois, operations to a 105,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in the 28-acre Wisconsin Stateline Industrial Park at Willowbrook and Stateline roads in Beloit, according to a news release from the Wisconsin Economic Development Corp. WEDC, the state's job creation agency, says the company is expanding and will employ 84 workers at the Beloit facility, which will open in mid-2019, according to the release. The Wisconsin Stateline Industrial Park was developed by Hendricks Commercial Properties.

Roger F. Willing, 86, of Beloit was last seen at 1:30 p.m. Monday in Madison. He is believed to have dementia or some other cognitive impairment, according to the alert.
