The Antigo school district, already a leader in enhancing security and safety in its buildings, is receiving a $160,000 boost from the state. Cora Karpinski, who now lives in Washburn County, is a former employee of Structures Unlimited in Marathon County, wrote unauthorized checks to herself, gave herself bonuses, and gave herself 356 hours of additional paid time off, according to a criminal complaint Investigators claim she took the money over five years while working as the boss' accountant.
